OverviewStryten Energy, manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints.Production Supervisors are responsible for overall supervision of all employees on the shift. Lead the shift to maximize output of quality products at minimum costs. Supervise all other plant departments when other Supervisors are not in the facility.12 hour Night shift. 6:00pm - 6:00am. 4 days on, 4 days off.Responsibilities

Safety is our overriding priority. If an unsafe condition is found to exist, actions must be taken immediately to correct the situation to keep all team members safe and get manufacturing equipment operational as soon as possible.

Embraces and follows the work and safety rules and wears all required personal protective equipment.

Follow and enforce all safety rules and regulations. Review work areas for safety compliance and safe work conditions. Investigate, document, and report each and all safety incidents and near misses according to policy before leaving at the end of the assigned shift.

Responsible for enforcing policies, procedures, attendance, work, and safety rules. This includes completion of all required paperwork accurately and timely.

Ensure all employees are correctly wearing and using all required personal protective equipment. Track equipment and supplies as required.

Responsible for execution of daily production schedule in order to meet customer demands.

Ensure all employees understand expectations about their working safely, attendance, performance, and adherence to work instructions.

Assign all employees to the jobs and tasks they are to perform for the shift. This to include all direct and indirect labor employees. Teach and explain employees what they need to do and how to perform their assigned job.

Provide employees with the tools and paperwork required for them to perform their job correctly and safely.

Monitor all activities of the shift to maximize material and labor utilization. Minimize scrap in all areas.

Responsible for achieving company goals and expectations regarding machine setup time and machine cycle time.

Take all phone calls and messages from all employees that are calling in to miss work. Communicate to all required staff members who is out and reason for absence.

Hold beginning and end of shift meetings with key personnel to plan out production on the shift and hand off production to the next shift.

Responsible for the accurate completion of all end of shift production and manning reporting.

Responsible for ensuring all production jobs are being run per the Bill of Material.

Complete and administer employee performance reviews as required.

Ensure all production jobs have completed and accurate first shot approvals are in place prior to production run.

Complete daily checklist per the Production Manager including all required quality and safety checks.

Responsible for general housekeeping of the production areas.

Must complete all required hazardous waste training and comply with all Company hazardous waste and handling procedures.

Attend all Production Meetings as required by the Production Manager and present production status as required.

Propose and implement improvements that will reduce product cost, increase output, increase uptime, decrease expenses, and provide a better and safer work environment.

Attend all Management meetings and training sessions, safety committee meetings, and all employee meetings as required by upper management.

Other responsibilities as assigned to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience supervising or managing a manufacturing production team or related field or equivalent combination of relevant education and work that will allow successful performance of job expectations.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Skills

Good attendance and performance work history.

Must be fluent with Microsoft Office.

Must complete a forklift driving program.

Must complete scissors lift driving training program.

Must complete a Lock Out / Tag Out program.

Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to drive tasks to completion.

Able to handle multiple priorities and work well under pressure.

Ability to communicate accurately and comfortably with all levels of management.

Motivated self-starter that is able to productively work alone and in groups to solve problems.

Proficient in English (reading, writing & verbal skills).
