This position is contingent on award of bid. This position will support the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program.  The person in this position will represent International SOS and provide services outlined below: International SOS is looking for an individual who is an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to care for VA members and their families. An Ultrasound Technologist operates specialized imaging equipment to create diagnostic pictures of patients' internal structures, assisting physicians in diagnosing and monitoring medical conditions. They also ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures while maintaining accurate records and images for analysis. Key Responsibilities:Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images of patients' organs and tissues. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort. Position patients appropriately to obtain optimal imaging results. Analyze and interpret images for accuracy before presenting them to physicians. Maintain and manage ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order. Document and maintain patient records, including images and reports. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss findings and assist in patient diagnosis. Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures during procedures. Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques. Provide support and education to patients regarding ultrasound procedures and results. This list is non-exhaustive, and the role holder may be required to undertake additional duties that are not specifically listed above.

  • JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: Research Technologist I Purpose Under general supervision provide support for department research through projects, maintenance and communication of data, and execution of laboratory experiments. Work hours: Most weekend days along with some weekdays, evenings, and holidays to maintain experimental conditions and conduct experimental protocols in long-term studies.
