The Original Brown Deer Beer Garden is operating Winter Concessions in our Heated, Indoor Winter Garden. The operations include selling hot cocoa, coffee, brats, hot dogs, pizza and other quick service items. We also serve beer, canned cocktails and soft drinks. There is a covered and enclosed ice rink which hosts public skating, Youth Hockey programs and tournaments.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Concession Stand Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving food and beverages at our concession stand. You will play a vital role in creating a positive experience for our guests by ensuring that all food safety standards are met and that the stand operates efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and take their orders accurately.
Prepare food items according to established recipes and food safety guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the concession stand, including cooking areas, serving counters, and storage spaces.
Handle transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper procedures are followed.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and restocking supplies as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food preparation and service.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
Qualifications
Previous experience in the food industry, kitchen, or retail environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards is a plus.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of retail math for cash handling purposes.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being self-motivated.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
