Position: Dishwasher Location: Western Racquet Club
Job Description: As a Dishwasher at our private tennis club, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas. Your responsibilities will include washing dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans according to our club's standards and food safety regulations. You will also assist in keeping the kitchen area clean and sanitary at all times to ensure a safe environment for our members and staff.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
Food safety certification (preferred but not required)
Dependable Transportation
Key Responsibilities:
Operate dishwashing equipment and wash dishes according to established procedures
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food prep areas
Assist in food preparation and storage as needed
Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow proper sanitation practices
Attend departmental staff meetings and follow instructions from the Executive Steward
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive motions
Work in a hot, humid, and sometimes noisy environment
