Job Title: Line Cook
Location: Miss Molly's Cafe & Pastry Shop, 9201 W. Center Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday (Mondays and Fridays off)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to standardized recipes, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and collaborating with the kitchen staff to ensure consistency and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare recipes following standardized instructions to ensure consistency and quality.
- Stock and set up kitchen stations while adhering to First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory practices.
- Prepare dishes for dine-in and to-go orders accurately and efficiently.
- Slice deli meats as required for menu items.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including operating the dishwasher and performing general kitchen cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager and fellow cooks to maintain dish consistency and quality.
- Communicate effectively in English to understand and follow instructions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role is required.
- Basic understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Basic English communication skills are required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat, cold, and various cooking equipment.
