Lakeland Family Dental is a well-established and patient-centric dental practice dedicated to providing top notch general dental care services to Oconomowoc and our surrounding communities. Our dynamic, fun, and thriving private practice is looking for a dental assistant to add to our fantastic team! We’re committed to delivering a warm and welcoming experience for our patients, and you will have the support of 2 dentists who are dedicated to the highest level of quality patient care. We are seeking someone who enjoys working with people, is team-oriented, and empathetic towards patient needs. Our dental assistant position is full time and offers competitive pay, excellent benefits, and other perks - including never working weekends!. Experience with Dentrix patient management software is a huge plus, and solid IT/computer skills are a must.
Our dental assistant position is full time, approximately 32 scheduled hours per week, which is around 33-35 hours per week actual working hours.
MONDAY: 8am - 6pm (9 working hours + 1 hour lunch)
TUESDAY: 7:30am - 3pm (7.5 working hours, no lunch)
WEDNESDAY: 8am - 6:30pm (9.5 working hours + 1 hour lunch)
THURSDAY: OFF
FRIDAY: 8am - 2pm (6 working hours, no lunch)

The Lakeland Team would love to have you join us in beautiful Oconomowoc, where our modern private practice is minutes from I-94! We are paperless and digital; all notes are done on the computer. The position includes seating & dismissing patients, assisting the dentists, cleaning/sterilizing rooms & instruments, using a 3D scanner instead of traditional impressions for most things, helping hygienists perio chart and turn rooms around when needed, and light maintenance tasks, among other things. We are a general dentistry office that offers patients a wide variety of services, including placing dental implants. We do refer out all child/adolescent orthodontics, most 3rd molar extractions, and most RCTs. At Lakeland Family Dental, we truly strive to provide the best possible care for our patients and be a practice our employees are proud of.
We prefer a candidate with at least 6 months of previous dental assisting experience. Team player mentality is a must, but we also esteem a positive attitude & solid work ethic. Pay is an hourly rate based on previous experience.
