Dental Hygienist

We are a small privately owned, drama free office that works well together and strives to enjoy our workday. We are looking for another team player that enjoys building relationships with patients and being a part of a community. We treat our patients like family and take pride in providing the best quality care and enjoyable experience in a relaxing environment.

Our office is newly built with the latest technology including 3D radiographs and intra oral cameras. We use our technology to improve our patient's appreciation and knowledge of their dental needs. We provide paid continuing education to keep up on the latest improvements in procedures, material and safety standards.

We are seeking a flexible part time permanent dental hygienist to join our team that will bring a positive and passionate attitude. We are looking for someone willing to personalize their care to individual patient needs while building a lasting relationship. You will have the ability to customize your schedule based on the needs of the patients. We encourage suggestions to help us develop systems to continually improve our daily services and provide exceptional patient experiences. NEW GRADUATES WELCOME TO APPLY.

Thursdays 7:30 - 3:00 pm and Fridays 8:00 - 2:30 pm. Willing to add another day/hours if preferred

Duties:

- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, taking x-rays, and applying fluoride treatments

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care

- Conduct thorough oral examinations and screenings for signs of oral diseases or abnormalities

- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation as needed

- Maintain a sterile and organized work environment

- Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes in dental software system

- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care

Skills:

- Proficiency in using Open Dental preferred but not required

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records

- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals

- Knowledge of infection control protocols and adherence to safety guidelines

Note: Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
