Maintenance Technician for Condominium Associations in Third Ward
What you’ll do:
As a Maintenance Technician you perform various maintenance duties requiring technical labor skills, including minor plumbing, electrical, light carpentry, groundskeeping and more. You would work directly with the property managers and the board of directors.
Your job will include:
Work closely with management to maintain a clean, safe, and appealing property.
Meet and communicate with vendors daily.
Communicate regularly and professionally with unit homeowners, management, vendors, and board members.
Maintain grounds and common areas and keep them free from trash and debris.
Report maintenance concerns directly to management and perform repairs.
Working at multiple sites
You will be required to move heavy objects and you will drive maintenance vehicles.
Monitor and control maintenance inventory and supplies
Deliver packages, walk property, change light bulbs and other tasks.
Skills and experience you need:
High school diploma or equivalent experience
Experience in minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work heavy equipment.
Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, good driving record and current auto insurance
Willing to be on call for emergencies that arise after hours.
What we offer:
First Shift, Monday through Friday with some flexibility
30 – 40 hours weekly
Stipend for cell phone
Additional compensation for after hours
Mileage reimbursement for picking up supplies.
$23 - $26 per hour based on experience
