Marketing Manager

While educators are our main focus, our clientele extends from K-12, higher ed, health and human services, and a few corporate organizations.

Role Overview:
Growing Minds fills a niche area of the wellness world and is looking for someone who can help present ideas in a fun, engaging, and pithy format. About 70% of the role involves marketing and content creation from existing courses plus writing monthly newsletters that feature our philosophy and products. Ideally, we ask that you are familiar with mindfulness or well-being with daily practices you use your own life.
This is a remote work, part-time position, 20 hours/week. Hourly pay, Range: $23-27/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Work (70%)
Develop engaging content for social media, email marketing, website and newsletters.
Content Creation using existing content and formatting to different user needs. i.e., formatting content to bite-size emails
Responsible for creating graphics for flyers, courses and new offering
Formatting website updatesFinding images to support our mission
Collaborating with the team for monthly themes
Writing and designing monthly newsletters
Mailchimp Management (15%)
Manage email distribution and automation utilizing Mailchimp and Zapier
Managing market segments and tagging systems
Managing Zapier integrations
Digital Advertising (15%)
Build, plan, and implement the overall digital marketing strategy
Manage and oversee various digital marketing channels including Facebook, Linked-In and Instagram
Social media content creation that supports the company mission and energy
Facebook Ads and Google AdWords marketing management with small budget to increase website traffic and drive sales
Track and measure SEO and Google Analytics metrics and reporting
Requirements:
Clear understanding of digital advertising platforms
Open to collaboration, constructive critique and editing
Strong presentation skills
Experience working with Microsoft Office software
Strong technological skills, ability to learn new systems
Creative mind that has fun with work
Experience with email marketing systems, such as Mailchimp and Zapier
Must have own computer, software license provided
Access to high speed internet
Ideal Qualities and Experience:
Experience in the field of education (as an educator or at a company serving education) is preferred.
Prior experience with mindfulness or mental health concepts
Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Excellent time management
Ability to work independently
Great planning skills
Knowledge of SEO
