As the Social Media and Digital Content Manager, you will develop, manage and report on social media channels, digital and on-site marketing programs and campaigns including creation, copy writing and posting.

Your key objective is to support our brands, products, special events and content. To be successful in the role, you will need to collaborate with a cross-functional team of employees, managers, chefs and owners.

You will also support the marketing director in strategy development and execution. This role may also work tipped shifts as a server or bartender in addition to the digital responsibilities.

What you’ll do

Social Media/Communications and General Office Activities:

• Works with Marketing Director to write and produce content for social media and promotion

• Actively engages with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) to engage and communicate with our customers and stakeholders;

• Monitors print news media for articles on issues relevant to the industry

• Assists in creative ideas and writing blog content for the brands

• Assists with special events by capturing event highlights in photos to use on social media platforms.

• Help run the charitable community giveback programs and be actively involved with the brands.

• Research trends as they relate to the restaurant and bar industry's best practices for social media

What you need

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with particular strength in interpersonal communications;

• Computer graphics skills; knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator preferred

• Interest in a future career in journalism and/or public relations, particularly in the non-profit arena a plus;

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

• Professional demeanor, ability to work with a diverse group of people, both independently and as part of a team.
