Wisconsin Engines, LLC. is seeking a full time CNC Machine Operator to join our team on FIRST SHIFT. We are conveniently located in Waukesha near I94 and Hwy 43.
Job Summary:
The CNC Machinist is responsible to operate CNC Machining Centers to perform a variety of machining operations to close tolerance customer specifications, while maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Change dull tooling and/or make minor offsets and adjustments as needed for tooling wear.
- Ensure quality standards are achieved by using a range of measuing equipment and inspection reports.
- Perform routine machine maintenance.
- Ensure safe work practices are being carried out.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to operate and maintain CNC Machine.
- Solid math skills.
- Ability to follow work instructions in both written and oral format.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to identify problems and report to supervisor as required.
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical ability to do work requiring frequent standing and bending, as well as lifting up to 30 lbs.
Required Experience:
1 year experience operating CNC Machining Centers is preferred.
