Vac-Air Industries is seeking a self-motivated individual with a mechanical mind-set to help in our machine shop to fabricate and assemble our products.
This is a part-time position that would require 25-30 hours a week.
This is a great opportunity for someone with little to no experience to join a team and have an opportunity to learn and grow into a solid full-time position.
Duties for this part time position will involve:
-Fabrication and machining of products.
-Working with and maintaining the upright mills, lathes and other equipment.
-drilling, reaming, tapping and sanding of products.
-Production management.
-Assembly of products and much more.
Qualifications-
No experience necessary, just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or diagrams is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
