MIG Welder 1st Shift
Looking for experienced welders at Hubbell Inc’s RW Lyall plant! We are a premier supplier of natural gas components for the utilities and are looking for full time experienced MIG Welders to join our team!
Welders will be trained to API1104 certification and will weld natural gas carrying pipe in their own weld booth in a controlled shop environment. We need people that are motivated, reliable, and willing to learn and receive feedback. Our welders use a combination of fit up jigs and open table set ups. We have a large variety of welding available from high volume, low mix production welding to low volume, more complex welding. Welders start on more basic components and progress to more complex components as they learn and demonstrate quality and efficiency. Potential for crane and forklift certification. All needed equipment and PPE is Company provided.
Requirements:
Pass a drug test and background check
Ability to lift 35 lbs consistently
Be able to read and interpret blueprints and shop travelers
Perform daily preventative maintenance on welding equipment
Must be reliable by being on time at work every day
Hours are 5:30am – 3pm with plenty of opportunity for overtime

Starting pay up to $25/hr based on experience. $1,000 bonus paid after 6 months of proven performance.
