Job Description:
This position is empowered to help lead the property on a daily basis. The position is focused on a wide variety of activities including resident satisfaction and management of business operations, leasing activity, financial reporting, collections, renewals, and marketing.Â
What you will do:
Act as mentor to the leasing team by supporting and leading them to accomplish goals
Play a key role in accounting and financial matters, e.g., collecting rent, posting payments, processing final account statements and updating monthly financial statements
Manage the leasing process from start to finish, identifying the needs of potential residents and addressing those needs to close the sale
Manage delinquencies and work to achieve Accounts Receivable goals
Assist with resident renewal initiatives and plan and assist with organizing resident functions and events
What we need:
One or more years of apartment leasing experience required, assistant community management experience preferred
Track record of success in managing delinquencies and Accounts Receivable
A comprehensive understanding of Fair Housing Regulations
A highly approachable personality equipped with strong decision making, time management, and organization skills

Education and Experience:
Required - high school or equivalent
Preferred - Associates or Bachelor's degree
One year apartment leasing or Assistant Property Manager experience
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm. Hours may change to 9am-6pm or 10am-7pm during the spring and summertime. Must be flexible to work weekends if needed, typically at the end of each month.
