Small 1-owner shop in Fredonia, looking for part-time mechanic help. Must have a strong knowledge of automobile mechanics and processes for repairs of all types and styles of vehicles. Cars range from 60’s classics to 90’s SUVs and everything in between. Able to troubleshoot what is needed for repair, identify the parts needed and create the orders to buy the parts to repair vehicles. Will be working closely with the owner and another PT mechanic.
Understanding of costs for vehicle damage and repairs and completion all necessary documentation
Troubleshoot, able to prioritize work. and repair vehicles correctly and in a timely manner.
Self-motivated, able to prioritize time and extremely organized.
Inspect vehicles for repair and safety. Communicates repairs needed, gets owner approval and able to implement, opportunity areas, the status of work orders, and results
Must provide quality in a craftmanship manner
Responsible for enforcing and following safety and quality standards

Requirements
Must have a minimum of 5 years of auto / vehicle repair experience
Must have an excellent understanding of timelines/ schedules, budgets and estimates for repair, damage or other for all vehicles
Ability to stay organized and on task
Excellent communication and written skills with attention to detail
Pay based on experience
