Job Title: Quality EngineerJob DescriptionIn this role, the individual will be in a hands-on role and be a quality leader. Maintaining compliance and ISO standards, refining control plans, and helping with new product development. The individual will be responsible for quality plans and improvement projects.Hard Skills
Manage plant-wide cross-functional corrective action system
Ensure product conformance to specifications
Provide input and support to in-process inspection process & staff
Continuously review and improve inspection and audit processes
Facilitate, coach, and mentor teams to execute changes & improvements
Lead cross-functional problem-solving teams
Provide support and training to manufacturing
Assist in data collection to troubleshoot problems
Participate and/or lead continuous improvement teams
Assist in the development and review of procedures and work instructions
Facilitate the development of product specifications, procedures, and test methods
Maintain and purchase manufacturing test & inspection technology
Interact with customers for complaint resolution
Participate in customer and certification audits
Work EnvironmentHands-on role working with 16 inspectors across 4 shifts, a quality tech, and process engineers. The shift is from 7am-4pm, but flexibility is required to assist off-shift if needed. Travel up to 25% may be necessary.
