Job Description:The Set-Up C Technician supports the production needs of the operation by setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting machines with assistance and/or direction from management or qualified associates.Duties and Responsibilities
Set-up, operate, and maintain equipment as needed to support operations
Make professional and lasting modifications and repairs to existing equipment with direction from management or qualified associates
Responsible for cosmetic criteria as specified and communicating criteria to employees
Relay pertinent product and quality related information to Operators, Inspectors, Supervisors, and peers, in both written and verbal forms
Documentation of production, maintenance, and QC audits performed
Organizing and maintaining the order and cleanliness of equipment, storage areas and the department as a whole
Other duties and projects, as required by production and business need
Education, Skills, and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Successful completion of Mechanical Aptitude test
Established ability to identify and communicate issues and offer proposed solutions
Great attention to detail is required
Ability to manage interruptions in a professional and respectful manner is essential
Above basic math skills and reasoning ability
Moderate computer and Microsoft Office skills
Forklift certification
