This individual provides care contributing significantly to the achievement of patient and family outcomes. The Perioperative Assistant is responsible for completing clerical and technical support to aid in planning for patients comfort, and safety.Hours: Daytime hours 0630-1500, days variable. No call, weekends, or holidaysJOB QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATIONFor positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.Minimum Required: NonePreferred/Optional: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of a medical assistant or nursing assistant program.EXPERIENCEMinimum Required: NonePreferred/Optional: Experience working as a certified nursing assistant or related field.CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSESThe following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.Minimum Required: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification awarded by the State of Wisconsin or equivalent experience.
