Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in New Berlin, Wisconsin. The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining the integrity of our accounting system, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. This role involves a significant amount of analytical work, including preparing operating budgets and analyzing financial results.Responsibilities: Oversee the maintenance and updating of the accounting system to ensure it remains functional and accurate Reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts receivable details and control accounts Prepare and adjust entries for amortizations, fixed asset depreciation, and accruals Compile financial statements and reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial controls and procedures Prepare monthly and annual operating budgets Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements, advising management on required actions Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance Record financial information for analysis, including profit and loss statements and cost projections Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP. Requirements Must have proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management Experience in Bank Reconciliations is necessary Familiarity with General Ledger management is required Should be able to prepare Journal Entries accurately Experience in Month End Close processes is necessary Proficiency in NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP is required Must have a strong understanding of financial reporting and financial concepts Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary Strong organizational and time management skills are required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential Must be able to work independently and as part of a team A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
