job detailsjob summary:A Supply Agent is needed for a leader in power and automation technologies in the New Berlin, WI area. This role involves supporting procurement activities by ensuring compliance with purchasing and logistics processes, collaborating with various departments to facilitate smooth production operations, and leveraging data analytics to drive continuous improvement.location: New Berlin, Wisconsinjob type: Contractsalary: $23 - 26 per hourwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Associatesresponsibilities:
Ensure implementation, maintenance, and compliance of purchasing and logistics activities within the Procurement function.
Execute assigned activities according to company standard procedures.
Provide production support to ensure a smooth flow of material and services related to the production plan.
Collaborate with the logistics department for incoming and outgoing shipments and transports.
Assist in resolving COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) cases at offsite Third-Party Logistics locations.
Address complaints and provide necessary documentation in coordination with the quality department.
Skills:
Proficiency in using SAP or other ERP software, as well as MS Office Suite.
Knowledge of assembly and manufacturing processes is preferred.
strong data analytics skills and a Continuous Improvement mindset.
Collaborative and solution-focused approach with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience:
Education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
