This is a flexible position that can be AM or PM, AM and PM, extra-curricular field and sports trips, emergency / on-call, and / or summer school. The morning route is approximately 6:45 AM – 8:15 AM and the afternoon route is approximately 3:00 PM – 4:45 PM. Extra-curricular trips vary from local to interstate, a few hours to a full day, early morning to late evening, and can be for field trips or sporting events. This position is open immediately but we offer flexibility for training, certification, and or previous commitments. The 2024/25 school year runs from early September through early June, and summer school runs for four weeks shortly thereafter.

Competitive wages: average starting pay is $40 - $50.00 per route depending on time, mileage, route, experience, and training. Average hourly wage is $21 - 27.50 per hour base to base for extra-curricular and sports trip.

Interested candidates MUST:
have a clean driving record and be approved by our insurance company;
have the ability to pass an initial and yearly background check per the school district and our companies policies;
pass an initial and periodic drug and alcohol tests as required;
have or be willing to obtain CPR certification;
posses or be able to acquire a MedCard;
be reliable, dependable, and punctual; and
be able to communicate effectively with students, parents, school staff, and co-workers.
Preference given to an individual who currently possess their class "A" or "B" CDL with their "S" and "P" endorsements, but willing to train the right individual.
A school bus driver career is perfect for the homemaker, as a supplement to current income, or as a transition into retirement.
