The Warehouse Manager oversees daily operations, leading and allocating resources to ensure efficiency, safety, quality, and financial goals are met. This role requires a strong understanding of product and information flow, including operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, and procurement. The Warehouse Manager works collaboratively across all levels of the organization to maintain strong relationships with customers and carriers, ensuring consistent customer satisfaction. Direct and manage all warehouse operations, optimizing warehouse capacity, inventory, and floor utilization to increase department productivity, operating within budget controls. 3. Audit equipment, processes and procedures for effectiveness and efficiency. Establish accountability and take corrective action when necessary. 4. Monitor, verify, and coordinate 3rd party warehousing as required. 5. Manage effective employee relations. 6. Manage metrics associated with both on and off-site operations which include direct labor costs, shipment errors on product shortages and damaged product. 7. Maintain relationships with customer, vendors, transportation entities and corporate personnel. Resolve customer complaints. 8. Manage safety, loss control, food safety and quality systems. 9. Lead the development, planning and implementation of systems ensuring proficient methods of transportation of ingredients, packaging, and finished product to and from the facility. 10. Effectively communicate policy and procedure changes, operational updates, safety and quality concerns. Provide feedback on department goals. 11. Lead investigations, analyze for root cause, promptly report, and recommend corrective action. 12. Maintain inventories in JDE system. Monitor usage. Investigate and resolve discrepancies. 13. Manage physical inventory counts. 14. Responsible for off duty emergency calls that cannot be resolved within the department. 15. Other duties as assigned.
