Generation Storeroom Specialist We Energies , a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Generation Storeroom Specialist in our Port Washington, Wisconsin location.Job Summary Conduct Supply Chain logistics activities related to the ordering, receiving, handling, disbursing, processing returns, and inventory management of materials, equipment, and services requested by internal customers at various Power Generation locations.Job Responsibilities The Generation Storeroom Specialist performs the following duties:
Conduct Supply Chain logistics activities related to the procurement, receiving, handling, disbursing, processing returns and inventory management of materials, equipment, and services requested by internal customers at various locations
Order materials, tools, equipment and chemicals
Arrange and receipt for pre-established agreements for services provided by outside contractors
Run Missing Parts report and investigate material requirements in support of Plant Maintenance
Contact suppliers/Procurement to adjust the delivery date and inquire on status of past due materials and services
Verify shipment, identify materials received, inspect for damages, and compare materials received against packing ticket/purchase order
Label, repackage if necessary and put away
Process accounts payable follow-ups and reconcile procurement card statements
Pick and prepare materials, tools, and equipment for immediate delivery and issue or for staging
Use a variety of material handling equipment, such as forklifts and stackers, to load and unload materials
Use handheld terminals and pc's to order, receipt and disburse materials, tools, and services
Minimum Experience Required
Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and meet the company’s requirements for driving
Candidates may be required to demonstrate their ability to perform the physical functions of the position by completing a Physical Capacity Evaluation
Testing requirements Stores Aptitude (STRS): Ability to understand mechanic concepts; ability to visualize forms in space; ability to compare details and identify whether the same or different. Suggested Preparation: Review mechanical concepts.Materials Specialist & Storeroom Structured Interview (MATL-STRS): Competencies include: Decision Making; Building Customer Loyalty; Managing Work; Safety Awareness; Work Standards; Communication. Suggested Preparation: Review of the competencies and associated definitions (obtained from the HR Consultant listed on the posting). Practice answering questions about your experiences relating to the competencies.End Date: 11/22/2024 Minimum Posting Range: $20.63 Maximum Posting Range: $34.44 The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future.
