Responsibilities Include:
Provide estimating for hard bid construction projects. This includes soliciting bids from subcontractors, preparing a self-perform work estimate, receiving and analyzing subcontractor bids, and preparing and submitting the final bid proposal.
Provide estimating for pre-construction budgeting including conceptual budgeting,schematic design budgeting, and design-development budgeting. This includes performing take-offs for multiple aspects of the projects and working with select sub contractors to compile a comprehensive budget.
Perform quantity take-offs for projects
Prepare written proposals with full scopes of work for select projects requiring this information.
Provide bid tabulation spreadsheets that help indicate all bids received for the project for select projects requiring this information.
Coordinate on the preparation of RFP Proposals for the company.
Participate in the company's interview team for prospective projects.
Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits for hard bid projects.
Necessary Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years experience as a construction estimator
