Job Title: WelderJob DescriptionOur company, located in the person, WI, is a manufacturer of stainless food processing equipment. This facility houses design, R&D, manufacturing, production, and maintenance departments. We are seeking skilled TIG/MIG welders to join our team. This role involves TIG welding on sheet metal and MIG welding on stainless and carbon steel, with a focus on fabrication and assembly duties.Responsibilities
Perform TIG welding on sheet metal between 16g and 7g
Perform MIG welding on stainless and carbon steel
Conduct lay outs and fabrication tasks
Assemble parts and components
Work on a variety of products with low volume of each product
Read and interpret blueprints
Handle parts ranging from inches to 15 feet in size
Essential Skills
2 years of TIG and MIG welding experience
Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and fabrication
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience working with stainless steel, sheet metal, and carbon steel
High school diploma or GED
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with various welding techniques
Attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills

The second shift runs from 3pm to 1am, Monday through Thursday, with some optional overtime on Fridays.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of WHITEWATER, Wisconsin.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
