Occupational Therapist - 0.6 FTE

Prairie Ridge Health is looking for a team member to join our Rehab Department at Sun Prairie Clinic in the role of Occupational Therapist. This position is 0.6 FTE (24 hours per week) Monday-Friday day shift with the occasional possibility of weekend coverage. Individuals will begin training in Columbus and then transition to the Sun Prairie Clinic once it has opened (tentatively October 2024). This position will be responsible for providing evaluative and therapeutic services to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populationsPOSITION SUMMARYThe Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing evaluative and therapeutic services to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations demonstrating perceptual motor, cognitive, physical, social and behavioral deficits in order to maximize functional living skills, as well as education for the prevention of further injuries. Performs other such duties as may be assigned from time to time. Develops and monitors activity program as well as provides direction and supervision to Activity Aide.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION

Masters or baccalaureate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school

Certification by the Board of Registry of the American Occupational Therapy

Association preferred

Valid License by the State of Wisconsin

Possess or be eligible for a valid WI Driver’s License

CPR certification

Computer Knowledge preferred

Experience in clinical occupational therapy preferred
