Job DescriptionJob Title:Cart Runner FLSA Status:Hourly Reports To:Guest Services Manager What You’ll Do: As a Cart Runner at Festival Foods, your responsibilities will include:
Providing Outstanding Service:Ensure that each customer (we call them guests) receives exceptional service in a friendly environment.
Creating a Welcoming Atmosphere:Be friendly, courteous, and cooperative while effectively communicating with associates and customers.
Upholding Standards:Maintain Guest Services expectations and standards.
Cart Collection:Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas, returning them to the store in all weather conditions.
Parcel Pickup:Perform prompt parcel pick-up service to enhance customer convenience.
Share and Solve:Share customer requests with management to enhance the shopping experience and feel empowered to resolve issues proactively as they arise.
Support the Team:Other duties as assigned, including supporting superior customer service initiatives.
Honor Commitments:Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The associate must possess the ability to stand in place for long periods of time; walk in the store; bend, stoop and lift or push up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Requires fine finger and broad manual dexterity, and eye-hand-foot coordination in order to operate equipment.
Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed in all weather conditions
Work Schedule: The Cart Runner is an hourly position. The work schedule may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
