This is a great opportunity for someone to lead the online guest experience, optimize the in-store shopper app, manage the day-to-day of our Ecommerce vendors and display products and offering on our website with the goal of increasing sales. This is a trusted member of the team that will play a major role in data integrations, product merchandising and staying abreast of competition. We are seeking an individual who shops online frequently, has business acumen of the ecommerce space and has a proven record of strategic thinking. The position is responsible for the guest website & app and in-store shopper app. The Ecommerce Manager is responsible for extending the in-store guest experience to our online shopper. Job DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages day to day ecommerce experience across our curbside pick up, grocery delivery, cake ordering and gift card program
Oversees relationships with vendors to identify enhancements that save time, increase profitability and improve sales
Manages the accuracy of ecommerce product popularity and categorization
Oversees product images and descriptions
Leads the science behind displaying products or offers with the goal of optimizing the online path to purchases and product searches within the Freshop platform
Stays relevant in the ecommerce space by identifying shopper trends and understanding vendor capabililities
Facilitates, plans and executes promotional programs with merchandising vendors
Assists with technical support for our delivery program
Cultivates new and maintains existing relationships with ecommerce delivery partners
Effectively communicates ecommerce related information between vendors, end users (guest and internal associates)
Guest Experience (Website & App)
Uses analytics and best practices to optimize the website and guest app experience to increase basket size and improve guest experience
Tests, implements and manages all new UX features on the website and in the app
Improves product assortment in navigation, search and product availability
Uses independent judgement and decision making to provide service and technical support for ecommerce guests
In-Store Shopper App
Works with our ecommerce vendors to identify time saving initiatives in the UX in-store shopper app
Manages guest payment integrations (ie: Payeezy, SNAP and Stripe)
Communicates new enhancements or technology to in store associates and conducts training as needed in person or via WebEx
Manages product walk-path for accurate product location
Additional:
Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
Support the Team: Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of ecommerce experience is required
Bachelors or Associates degree in Business, Communication, Marketing, Information Technology or related field preferred
3+ years of experience with tracking and evaluating statistics, utilizing web analytics tools such as Google Analytics
Proficiency in multiple ecommerce platforms
Exceptional attention to detail
Possess a high level of technical knowledge and skill
Technical writing skills; the ability to summarize digital enhancements and complex technical issue to associates at all levels
Ability to take ownership of a problem and see it through to completion
Ability to take the initiative to stay abreast to changes and trends within ecommerce
Demonstrated ability to work independently and is a self-starter; can identify opportunities and execute solutions
Some travel required

WORK SCHEDULE
This is a salaried, full time position. Given the 24/7 nature of online shopping, this position may work irregular hours and as needed, must be available nights, weekends and holidays to handle any issues that may arise.
