S/he utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families. This individual demonstrates excellent clinical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and leadership skills, and makes decisions consistent with Marshfield Clinic Health System policies, department protocols/guidelines, and the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act.JOB QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATIONFor positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.Minimum Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.Preferred/Optional: NoneEXPERIENCEMinimum Required: NonePreferred/Optional: Two years nursing experience.CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSESThe following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Nurse Compact License.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department/location).
Affiliated staff privileges at associated hospital may be required (varies by department/location).
