Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Director of Accounting in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. This role involves a high level of interaction with various internal and external clients, managing financial and accounting operations within our organization. As a Director of Accounting, you will be tasked with overseeing construction and development project finance, asset management, property management, and various accounting duties.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Proactively interact with construction and development project personnel to ensure accurate financial reporting and budgeting. Establish and maintain effective communication with the finance and investment group for smooth operations. Work closely with the property management team, ensuring accurate financial records and reporting. Handle external client communication with banking representatives, legal, and accounting and tax firm representatives. Utilize Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, BlackLine, Concur, and CRM to streamline accounting processes. Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of auditing and budget processes. Drive the resolution of accounting-related issues and inquiries from third-party owners and other stakeholders. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, and auditing. Use your knowledge of Accounting Functions to streamline and improve our company's financial procedures.
