Position Description:$18.50 an hour1st shift, Monday - Friday (NO WEEKENDS!)Position Summary:Our Merchandising Team is responsible for maintaining Coca-Cola’s brand presence in the market and keeping products fully stocked on the racks, shelves, displays and coolers of our customers. Driver Merchandiser Assistant work closely with drivers and merchandisers to delivery and merchandiser products in support of our customer accounts.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Assists driver in delivery of products to customers.
Unloads product
Merchandises customer accounts
Maintains customer relationshipsMerchandise, display, and rotate products according to company standards.
Pick up company property.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:Required Skills and Experience:High school diploma or GED
A candidate must be 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.
Must have reliable automobile transportation, maintain an acceptable driving record and valid drivers license, and maintain auto insurance coverage at least to the minimum amount specified by the Company and state law.
Must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
Preferred Skills and Experience:6 months related experience (ie working in a distribution warehouse environment, roofer, farmhand, grocery dock, construction, manipulating patients in a hospital/nursing home or physical therapy environment, or other positions which require continuous heavy lifting which deals with multi-temperature).
Beverage industry experience.
Prior customer service experience in solving customer issues/problems.
Experience with a handheld ordering device, prior merchandising or grocery store experience, including stocking, product handling, and local delivery and unloading experience.
