GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The School Facilities Division Administrator will manage, direct, and supervise the School Facilities Division staff in providing adequate, efficient, and cost-effective educational facilities in the K-12 public education system. The Division Administrator communicates and counsels with the seven-member commission and Select Committee on School Facilities and oversees the project management team and approves cost estimates, budgets, and schedules for 48 districts for school construction and major maintenance. The Division Administrator is responsible for ensuring all projects meet statutes, rules, regulations, policies, and methodologies of the School Facilities Division and State Construction Department.

PREFERENCES:
Preference may be given to candidates who graduated from an accredited four-year college or university in construction management, architecture, engineering, business or closely related field.
Preference may be given to candidates with at least five years of work experience in construction management, architecture, engineering, business or closely related field.
