You can hear our CEO, Rajiv Ramiswami, talking about it significance here:https://www.nutanix.com/solutions/ai?icid=60011URNSNIE5What You Will BringWe are looking for an experienced, motivated, and entrepreneurial AI Global Business Development Leader to lead our GPT Go To Market efforts in our Solutions Sales leadership team at Nutanix. In this role you will report directly to the Global Sales Chief of Staff and VP of Solution Sales.This is the first hire of its kind in our GTM team and you will need to be a builder and a natural entrepreneur – but with the benefit of building a “start-up” within a mature and financially viable Cloud software company with a core customer base of over 24k customers into who you can sell.You will need relevant experience in Cloud software and IaaS as well as in the AI space.You will work closely with our GPT Engineering, Product Management and Solutions Architects teams to help you evangelize in the market and to build and mature our GTM as the AI space evolves.ResponsibilitiesInitially, you will be expected to:· Land our next set of GPT customers from existing pipeline and learn from those engagements· Evolve the messaging and market entry strategy for Nutanix, with relevant collateral for the field· Segment market to target appropriate Nutanix install base and personas within those customers· Build GPT marketing plan for the rest of FY24 and into FY25· Build Enablement plan for the field for the rest of FY24· Identify specialist partners and SIs to help us scale once we have sufficient credibility in the spaceRequirements· Experience in AI, Cloud software and IaaS is essential· 10+ years of quota carrying sales and/or business development experience and 5+ years of high-level sales leadership experience in a fast-paced, highly competitive, ever-changing sales environment.· You have extensive experience negotiating large deals with extremely complex terms, conditions, price pressures, and considerations.· You have experience selling new technologies with a focus on product adoption and expansion.· You have a proven ability to work effectively with and across all levels of business and IT contacts within large and complex organizations.· You are a humble leader with a bias for action.· You are someone with an entrepreneurial spirit with an affinity for collaboration and teamwork.· You are a self-starter who takes initiative, works with limited direction, and has experience with companies pursuing and undergoing rapid growth.· You have a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience); MBA preferred.· Ability to travel up to 50% (domestic and international)Does this sound like you? Let’s talk!The OTE pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $242,400 and $363,600/year; however, pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
