Position Summary

As leader of WyHy’s marketing efforts working with an outside agency, the Marketing Manager/Director (DOE) will lead the planning, execution and optimization of WyHy’s online and traditional marketing efforts; coordinate the production of digital media, advertising, events, and communications collateral; monitor and manage digital channels, including social media content and community engagement; and guide the planning and administration of promotions and programs in traditional and digital media. The Marketing Manager/Director will be responsible for directing agency management meetings and ensuring all marketing activities and communications are following credit union policies and regulations.

The successful candidate must…

  • Have a passion for all things marketing and technology, be tech-savvy and intuitive with great ideas to drive the marketing campaigns.
  • Have excellent project management skills: including managing time, prioritizing and keeping deadlines.
  • Possess knowledge of current marketing and promotional methods, policies, plans and procedures to effectively perform job duties.
  • Demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, and ensure quality in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communications skills—both verbally and in writing with internal stall, vendors and partners.
  • Ability to work with Leadership Team, vendors and agency partners to ensure the timely execution of the marketing plan.
  • Be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivqalent.

  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs and project management software.

  • Detail-oriented with strong skills in organization and project management.

  • Experience in developing Marketing Plans and creating and directing budgets.

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, advertising, or related experience.

  • Prior marketing experience in a digital environment.

  • Prior Marketing experience at a Credit Union / Bank.

Physical Requirements

This position is largely a sedentary role with prolonged periods of computer/desk work. Employee must be able to hear, see and speak. Employee must be able to ambulate and may, on occasion, be required to lift or move objects up to 50 pounds.
