GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking a temporary Brucellosis Technician. This position collects, processes, and submits blood and tissue samples from hunter harvested elk for brucellosis surveillance in the Bighorn Mountains. Must work long hours. Must work in adverse weather conditions. Must be able to operate a 4-wheel drive vehicle in winter driving conditions. Other duties as assigned. No supervisory role.

PREFERENCES/AGENCY REQUIREMENTS:
Preference will be given to those with a high school diploma, plus two years of work experience in fish and wildlife resource management, research, or habitat development, or two years of college coursework toward a baccalaureate degree in wildlife management, ichthyology or other closely related field; other related training and experience will be evaluated for placement in this position.
Must have a valid driver's license.
