GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is seeking a full-time Construction and Field Survey Technician located in Sheridan, Wyoming, where you will enjoy The Big Horn Mountains, which offer various outdoor activities nearby, including snowmobiling, skiing, camping, fishing, and hunting.
Under limited supervision, the Construction and Field Survey Technician will perform various duties, including surveys and inspections on preliminary designs and construction projects, and conduct material testing to provide a safe, high quality, and efficient transportation system for the State of Wyoming.

Qualifications
PREFERENCES/AGENCY REQUIREMENTS:
Preference may be given to applicants with experience using the Trimble TS2 data collector and Geopak and Topcon software.
Agency may require: Defensive Driving, WYDOT Portland Cement Concrete, Asphalt Concrete, Soil & Aggregate, ACI Concrete Level 2, QC/QA Certification in Soils & Aggregate, Asphalt and Concrete. American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Certification, Valid Wyoming Driver's License

2-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Construction and Field Surveying) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Construction and Field Survey Assistant
