Position Overview: The main duties of the Field Service Lube Technician position include performing a full range of preventative maintenance tasks and minor repairs on mobile machinery, construction equipment, paving equipment, aggregate crushing equipment, and support equipment. This position will also provide support for the field service technicians and other site technicians as needed. This is a full-time position, that will be based out of Wyoming and will require travel and extended overnight stays at various locations throughout the region. This position will be dispatched out of Sundance, Wy by the Regional Equipment Manager. MSHA certification is required to work in quarries, gravel pits, construction sites, and aggregate operations. The primary function of this position is to ensure the proper preventative maintenance procedures are complete and accurate for all equipment across the region. Essential Duties and Functions:
Be prompt and timely for all assigned shifts, schedules, and projects.
Perform a full range of tasks relating to preventative maintenance on various brands of equipment.
Repair tires, wheels, wheel bearings.
Have knowledge of crushing spread operations, construction site and gravel pit operations.
Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work (i.e. work in poor weather conditions or outside normal hours)
Position Requirements:
Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test
Experience with preventative maintenance procedures such as taking oil samples, draining compartment oils and refilling them to proper levels.
Taking accurate hours and miles to ensure PM intervals are met
Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal
