Fabricators are essential to the overall operation of the business. While specific daily tasks can vary depending on the current workload, a Fabricators main responsibility is cutting, threading, grooving, testing, and bundling pipe and fittings to meet customer's specifications.Exciting work you will do:The essential duties and responsibilities of the Fabrication Operator position will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:Pipe threading, cutting, and groovingProduct quality testing through pressure and/or chemical testingPainting productSandblasting if required by locationMaterial layout by customer measurements/specificationsRead job printsParticipate in safety initiatives as assignedMaintain quality and quantity performance and production standardsMust learn how to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, hand trucks, crane, etc.Participate in ongoing general housekeeping of warehouseCheck assigned equipment for proper operation/functionality and communicate problems to Warehouse ManagerFollow safe work habits and established safety proceduresSafely operate additional warehouse equipmentAttend meetings and training sessionsOther fabrication tasks as assignedCompetencies you possess:Service ExcellenceResults, Action OrientedAccountability and ResponsibilityTeamwork and collaborationSafety ConsciousWhat you'll need:Work Experience: Entry LevelEducation: High School Diploma or GEDAnalytics/Computer Skills: Ability to use standard office equipment, including but not limited to computerized bar code scanner, printer, and standard warehouse equipment/tools/machines/vehicles. Basic math and reasoning skills.Organization Skills: Excellent work ethic, good verbal, and communication skills. Ability to work independently.Cross-functional skills: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and through the direction of a Fabrication ManagerCo
