We are a fast paced small diner specializing in breakfast. We are looking for a full time line cook who is passionate about guest satisfaction, beautiful plates, and sending out amazingly yummy food. If you have creative menu ideas, we are the small mom and pop place that will indulge them.
You must work be able to walk up and down a steep flight of stairs, able to stand for long periods of time, and able to lift and carry 50 pounds. You understand the importance of - and actually follow! - the standards of temp logs, labels, FIFO ... and we would swoon if you were ServeSafe certified. Must be a punctual morning person with weekend availability. You love working in a clean kitchen and strive to leave it that way at the end of every shift, knowing that everyone on a team has to pull their weight to maintain a kitchen that is a pleasure to work in and one proud to have a guest see (we have an open kitchen).
We pay very fair for the area and are generous with bonuses when merited. It may seem that we expect a lot but really what we outlined is the basics of any professional kitchen, and you would know that you would be joining a crew that adheres to the same high level of standards that you do.
