Construction Engineer or Construction Inspector – Casper, WY

Trihydro Corporation, a mid-sized engineering and environmental consulting firm with a national footprint, is seeking an experienced Construction Engineer or Construction Inspector to join our Casper, Wyoming team. This position focuses on providing construction administration, observation, monitoring and reporting services for regional public and private clients, focused on remediation projects. As a member of our team, you will assist with providing quality construction administration, observation, monitoring and reporting services for municipalities and private clients during the completion of remediation projects. You will work with a project team developing and understanding remediation plans and specifications. In this role, you will have responsibilities such as performing constructability reviews, preparing cost estimates, understanding contract documents, reviewing contractor reports, and preparing daily progress reports.

Applicants must have the ability to effectively interpret and communicate plans and specification requirements, and support client program requirements. This role will serve as a liaison between clients, contractors, and Trihydro personnel. Applicants must have a clean driving record and a demonstrated commitment to safe operations. This position requires significant field work and travel.

This role is for you if:

You have 7-10+ years relevant construction inspection experience. Relevant experience includes administration and observation activities related to civil infrastructure projects and large-scale soil remediation projects.

You are experienced and comfortable in reviewing and interpreting construction plans and specifications.

You are a strong communicator, both orally and written (daily computer use), with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.

You are experienced with working with contractors and around heavy equipment.

You possess strong technical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail, accuracy and completeness, and a commitment to producing high-quality project deliverables.

You have willingness to travel to job sites, sometimes for extended periods. Job sites will be located throughout Wyoming and Colorado or near our other Trihydro offices in the U.S.

You understand the importance of time management and possess excellent organization skills.

You must meet internal requirements for operation of company vehicles throughout duration of employment and must maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
