We are couple of young professionals who live in Casper’s downtown/big tree area. We are looking for a Household Manager.
About you:
You should be professional, responsible, fun, down-to-earth, and respectful. We want someone who is good at following instructions, asking questions if confused or in doubt, and good at meeting deadlines. You should be able to wear many different hats.
About the work:
On a very basic level, this is a Personal Assistant job: You will be assigned a variety of household chores and light manual labor including housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, packing lunches), running errands (groceries, dry cleaning, mails runs, taking vehicles in for oil changes etc.), vacuuming and washing vehicles, summer and winter yard work (watering the yard, mowing small yard, weed-eating, raking leaves, weeding, sweeping, on-demand snow removal in the winter). Better yet, though, you will serve as a Household Manager. This means you will do the above tasks, but also schedule and track tasks to ensure they are completed on a repeating schedule as needed without having to be asked each week or month. This means you will also be responsible for finding other companies or individuals to perform specific tasks that require specific training or skills.
This work is very important for our family. If you’re looking for a relaxed position where you can “phone it in,” this is not the job for you. Please do not apply. Although this is not a formal office job at an official business setting, we are serious business owners and our need for help is serious. The work environment may be casual but delivering top-level results is still crucial. You must consistently pay close attention to detail, have plenty of initiative, and be proactive at finding new ways to provide value to our family without having to be closely monitored or micromanaged at every turn.
Housing option:
This position would also be ideal for someone who is looking to live with us in the same house. If you do NOT have a pet and are looking for a comfortable place to live, we would be glad to have you as a housemate as well. Your room will be furnished and in a nice home with a theatre, fenced-in back yard, and hot tub. The total cost for utilities and rent is normally $550/monthly which includes curbside recycling, high speed wifi, Netflix, HBO GO, etc. But if you move in, you can "pay" off your rent by doing the above work.
What to do next:
We expect to have 100-120 hours of work per month; this will likely increase over time, especially if you are good at what you do and are able to find new ways to be helpful and save us time. Your hourly rate or yearly salary will depend on your qualifications, work experience, work ethic, and the skill required to do the work. This is a really great opportunity for someone looking for a flexible part- to full-time job or a free place to stay in exchange for an extra 25-30 hours of work each week.
