LDAR Monitoring Technician – Rock Springs, WY
Trihydro, one of the nation’s top environmental and engineering consulting firms, has an opening for a LDAR Monitoring technician. Based in Rock Springs, WY you will join our Air and Process Team and will assist with air quality monitoring associated with leak detection and repair (LDAR) monitoring programs, as well as other regulatory compliance activities in an industrial setting. This role involves approximately 40-45 hours of work per week and requires daily travel, predominately within the Rock Springs, WY area.
What Monitoring Technicians Do
Our Monitoring technicians assist our clients in complying with environmental regulations by identifying equipment leaks for repair, thus helping prevent emissions to the atmosphere.
Work Environment
This position consists primarily of field-based work and requires walking and standing for extended periods. Due to the outdoor nature of the role, work occurs in all weather conditions.
This Role May be Right for You if You Have:
An interest in understanding how natural gas processing plants operate
A basic mechanical aptitude
Experience within an industrial setting (preferred, not required)
Strong technical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail and accuracy
Acceptable written and oral communication skills with a strong desire to build successful relationships with clients and project team members.
An independent work ethic (can take direction and carry out tasks with minimal supervision)
An ability to work comfortably at heights
A clean driving record
