Monitoring Technician – Casper, WY

Trihydro, one of the nation’s top environmental and engineering consulting firms, has an opening for a monitoring technician in Casper, WY. The monitoring technician will join our Air and Process Services Team and will support air quality monitoring associated with leak detection and repair (LDAR) monitoring programs, as well as other regulatory compliance activities. The role involves approximately 40 hours of work per week.

What Monitoring Technicians Do

Our monitoring technicians assist our clients in complying with environmental regulations by identifying equipment leaks for repair, thus helping prevent emissions to the atmosphere.

Work Environment

This position consists primarily of field-based work in an industrial setting and requires walking and standing for extended periods. Due to the outdoor nature of the role, work occurs in all weather conditions. 

This Role May be Right for You if You Have:

A basic mechanical aptitude

Experience within an industrial setting (preferred, not required)

Strong technical and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Acceptable written and oral communication skills with a desire to build successful relationships with clients and project team members.

An independent work ethic (can take direction and carry out tasks with minimal supervision)

An ability to work comfortably at heights

A clean driving record

Acceptable employment history with a demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
