Industrial Electrician Job Summary:
Masis Professional Group is recruiting for an Industrial Electrician on behalf of our client located in Laramie, WY. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a competitive hourly payrate and benefits package.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Industrial Electrician who will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical equipment while adhering to industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both industrial and commercial electrical work, contributing to our commitment to excellence in service delivery.
Industrial Electrician Duties:
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.
Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure proper functionality of automated systems.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various electrical tasks.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute installations accurately.
Conduct renovations and upgrades of existing electrical systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Perform routine inspections using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to identify issues and ensure safety.
Collaborate with construction teams on-site to integrate electrical systems into new builds or renovations.
Provide maintenance person services as needed, including frame carpentry related to electrical installations.
Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
Industrial Electrician Qualifications:
Proven experience as an industrial electrician, with a solid understanding of commercial electrician practices.
Proficiency in working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation technologies.
Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and safety regulations.
Strong skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation.
Experience on construction sites with a focus on electrical installations and renovations.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members across various disciplines.
