Taiga Mechanical Services, the premier Heating and Cooling service provider in Jackson Hole, is looking for an experienced and professional Master HVAC Technician. This person will focus on installing and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. RESPONSIBILITES:
Repair malfunctioning HVAC systems.
Inspect functioning systems for potential issues.
Install new HVAC systems.
Test and troubleshoot your installations after completion.
Test and examine boiler operations, observing meter and pressure gauges; conduct boiler water quality test and treatment; adjust boiler burner combustion (preventative maintenance program).
Lubricate and pack heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and air-conditioning motors, pumps, fans, and other equipment.
Install and calibrate systems; install copper tubing and repair pipes and tubing as necessary; test joints and insulate pipes of refrigeration and air conditioning systems; flush boilers, descale tubing; rebuild pressure and temperature safety valves and water pumps based on manufactures specifications/recommendations.
Install, rebuild, replace, or repair fans, motors, thermostats, fuses, filters, bearings, valves, controls, gaskets, and other equipment as necessary.
Maintain related records concerning time, labor, and materials; maintain log of tasks performed and write reports as required.
Create estimates and/or invoices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED certificate.
Completed HVAC apprenticeship.
Valid Journeyman HVAC license with the ability of obtaining a Master Journeyman Certification.
At least 8 years of industry experience with at least 4 years as an apprentice and 4 years as a journeyman.
Diesel boiler experience required.
Plumbing experience not required but preferred.
This position may require after-hours emergency calls.
Good communication, documentation and trouble shooting skills.
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
