Job Type: Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic (Including but not limited to: Dump Trucks, Semis, Medium Duty Trucks, Light Duty Pickups, Skid Steers, Front End Loaders, Small Motors)
Job Location: Crystal Landscape Supplies Inc. 6616 N Garfield Ave. Loveland, Colorado 80538
Number of Openings: 1 (40-65 hours/week) 1 position is available with immediate to two weeks of fulfillment, beginning Monday, December 2nd.
Pay: DOE Minimum starting at $27.00-$30.00/hour. Pay is weekly. Profit share/performance bonuses are also available to this position at least twice per year.
Job Description/Duties:
Include the following and other duties may be assigned as needed, but not limited to these duties
1. Performs service, repairs and maintenance on semi-trucks, trailers in accordance with Department of Transportation and company policies, standards, and codes, as well as like service on front end loaders and skid steers.
2. Follows our company safety rules: utilizes protective clothing and equipment, reports safety hazards and incidents to supervisor
3. Completes required paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
5. Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards
6. Perform other duties as assigned (including but not limited to:)
-Pre-tripping and assisting in loading of trucks going out for delivery
-Grease and Maintain various types of equipment
-Tarp/CB Radio/Bed Liner Installs
6. Repair hydraulic systems as needed
7. Repair and replace brakes, lights, and all preventive maintenance needed for our semi fleet of trucks & end dumps
8. Use of Diesel Diagnostic Software and correcting corresponding issues
9. Being a productive Team member
10. Effectively being able to handle a high paced work place environment.
11. Ability and yearn to learn on the job.
12. Willingness to be a TEAM player.
13. Keep up with the shops organization/cleanliness.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation
2. Previous Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic Experience REQUIRED.
3. Quality References that correspond with the above job description
4. Must be available Monday-Saturday IN SEASON (April-November) and Monday-Saturday OFF SEASON (December-March) Shifts are Day Shift as early as 7am and as late as 6pm IN SEASON and 7am and as late as 5pm OFF SEASON.
