We are a home improvement company that is looking for qualified and experienced carpenters to help us grow. What we do is very simple. We repair and replace lots of siding, soffits, fascia, decks, doors, and windows. In addition, we run large kitchen and bath remodel projects.
Applicants that have experience building decks, wooden fences, framing construction, repairing rotten soffits and fascia are greatly desired. Applicants that have experience with multiple home systems are highly desired.
Responsibilities
As a carpenter on our team, you will be responsible for producing each job on time and on budget.
You will be responsible for producing the day-to-day tasks necessary to complete work as described in work orders.
You will be required to use your experience to decide how to work through job site problems.
You will be required to work from scaffolding and wallboards up to 3 stories high. You must be comfortable working from these heights
You must have a very good knowledge of how to install most construction materials.
You must make a priority of keeping up with and turning in all receipts.
Hours
We work 40 hours a week from Monday to Friday. 7:00 - 3:00. Our shop is located in Pelham where we meet each morning and we drive our own vehicles to each job from there.
Showing up to work on time as well as a good attendance record is highly valuable.
Having a good work vehicle that may be used to carry a ladder or a sheet of plywood is highly valuable.
Working a small amount of overtime when needed is highly valuable.
What we are offering
Pay is negotiable based on verifiable experience.
Paid holiday time will be given at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Compensation raises will be given as your skills and value are proven and increased.
Starting pay for an Apprentice position is $15.00 per hour with time and a half for overtime hours.
Starting pay for a Journeyperson position is $20.00 per hour with time and a half for overtime hours.
Starting pay for a Master Carpenter position is fully negotiated within the interview process.
