Our Warehouse Selector is responsible for selecting the correct products from pick slots, palletizing orders, and delivering products to the dock in a safe and efficient manner.
Operates an electric pallet jack to transport product.
Hand selects orders in a refrigerated environment ranging from 34 - 55 degrees.
Stacks product on pallets in accordance with proper selecting procedures.
Stages pallets for loading on proper dock locations.
Maintains and safely operates all assigned equipment.
Shrink-wraps product on loading dock.
Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
At least (1) year of experience operating an electric pallet jack.
Ability to meet or exceed minimum efficiency levels as established.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively as it relates to the job and safety regulations.
Must be comfortable working in a cold climate-controlled warehouse environment.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs., transverse a warehouse unassisted, and stand for 8+ hours.
Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment background screening and/or drug testing.
The starting salary for this position is $17.20 an hour. We offer weekly pay plus incentives. This position will also be eligible for an additional fringe benefit of up to $4.57 per hour (up to 40 hours) worked per week.
