Mountain Brook Gymnastics is looking for part-time coaches and teachers to begin ASAP in both our preschool and recreational depts.
Gymnastics experience (especially if you have previously coached) is preferred, but we will train the right candidates! :) Applicants must be high energy, active, dependable, FUN, organized, patient and enjoy working with children of all ages. This job is hands-on and you must be a people person that is comfortable around children as well as speaking with parents occasionally.
In school year through the end of May, we are open 8:45- until around 7pm or 8pm M-Th and until 6:30pm on Fridays. For the summer starting in June, we are open daily 7:45 until around 4:15. We do allow schedules to be tweaked as we move into new semesters to coincide with those in school/other jobs and can work with most any type availability. But you do have to commit to your chosen schedule for a semester at a time. We also have Birthday Parties, Private Lessons and Clinics on Saturdays and Sundays that staff may sign up for weekly if interested in additional hours.
Pay is dependent upon experience in gymnastics, coaching and working with children as well your education.
