We are looking for a skilled and motivated Small Engine Mechanic to join our team and contribute to our commitment to excellence.

Job Description:

As a Small Engine Mechanic at Aabco Rents, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of small engines, gas & battery including those found in lawnmowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and other outdoor power equipment. You will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect, diagnose, and repair small engines and related mechanical components.

- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, spark plug replacements, and fuel system cleaning.

- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues.

- Order and replace parts as needed.

- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance.

- Test equipment for performance and safety after repairs.

- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers about their equipment needs and repairs.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in small engine technology.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Certification or diploma in small engine repair or a related field is preferred.

- Proven experience as a Small Engine Mechanic or similar role.

- Strong knowledge of small engine mechanics and repair techniques.

- Proficient with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Good communication and customer service skills.

- Valid driver’s license.
